Kiroro Snow World

Kiroro Snow World is a powder paradise located in the Akaigawa village area between Sapporo and Niseko. The resort holds the distinction of being one of the snowiest ski areas in all of Hokkaido, with an astounding average annual snowfall of 15 meters. With 23 courses spread across two peaks and serviced by 9 lifts, Kiroro offers a diverse range of terrain including excellent tree runs and wide groomed boulevards.

The resort has undergone significant development in recent years with the addition of luxury Sheraton and Tribute Portfolio hotels at the base. Kiroro's higher base elevation of 570 meters ensures consistent snow quality throughout the season. The resort is notably less crowded than nearby Niseko, offering a more peaceful skiing experience with equally impressive powder conditions. An on-site onsen facility provides the perfect end to a day on the mountain.
